Seeking Art in Central Europe is a nine-day (eleven-day, if flight days are included in the count) program that combines visits to museums and galleries in Vienna, Berlin, and Hamburg and northern Germany with time for drawing and painting works to add to the participant’s portfolio.
A comprehensive price for each program includes the following amenities:
- Round-trip airfare between the United States and Europe
- Accommodations (multiple occupancy) and meals (meals directly or by stipend)
- All ground transportation
- All entrances, tours, and tips at museums and sights
- Professional artistic instruction and guidance
The cost of the program in Hamburg is $4,000. Students currently enrolled in a school or college receive an automatic discount of $500. Registrants who have previously traveled with Magdeburg Explorations receive a discount of $200. Students who have previously traveled with Magdeburg Explorations may apply a combined discount of $700 to one art trip offered by the organization in 2025.

Details Regarding Payment
A minimum, non-refundable deposit of $500 is due when the registration is due. If the registration is submitted before the respective deadline, payment is not due until the deadline. However, space in the program is not reserved until payment in full is received. If full payment is not submitted initially, a service charge will be added to all subsequent payments to cover processing fees. Payment in full must be received within six weeks of the original deadline.
We offer three methods of payment:
1. Those living near a branch of Truist Bank may visit the bank in person and deposit the funds into MISP’s account (#1390005749359). Send notice of such payment to MISP at the address below.
2. An alternative method of payment is via bank transfer, using the following information:

3. A final option is to transfer payment using the Zelle payment service. Funds should be sent to <info@MagdeburgPrep.org> or you could scan the QR code above. If you are unfamiliar with Zelle, see your bank for details on how to accomplish this transaction.
Important! When you register, you must also e-mail a scan or photo of the picture/informational pages of your passport to MISP at the address listed below.
